Study On The "Terror" Of Horror Film

Fear, as one of the human basic emotions, with a long history ofhuman.The horror film, as a type of film express the fear, more and more active in thefilm stage.The horror film through probe of the human fear of artistic expression,attractpeople’s attention to "terror", not only make the people to know fear in the horror ofaesthetic, but also obtain pleasure.Discussion in horror films in the academic circlesusually stay in a specific case analysis of film, and level of class analysis, but pay littleattention to the horror itself.This study is concerned with the "terror" aesthetic, andwatching the horror film is a kind of aesthetic activity.The introduction of this paper isabout the status of the horror film,the first chapter gives a detailed definition of "terror",and analyzes the fear in all disciplines to explain, in order to better classify "terror", andanalyzes its characteristics lies.The second chapter is "terror" in the aesthetic analysis ofthe horror movie,according to the horror film case, respectively from the image, theenvironment, and the characteristics of the three aspects to analyze the aestheticcharacteristics of "terror" in horror movies.The third chapter on the basis of the analysisof the aesthetic characteristics of "terror", standing in the aesthetic subject position,analysis of the aesthetic value of "terror", discusses the relationship between‘art-horror’and reality horror.Finally, this paper summarizes the because of horror filmwith other types of film can not substitute for artistic embodiment function of"terror",which has a unique charm, and has a large consumer groups.
