Students of higher grades in the independent college have more obvious tendency to anxiety, self-contempt, depression and flinch; while higher grades’ students in the counterpart school on main campus have more problems in obsessive-compulsive disorder, mental disorder and sex psychology, and lower grades’students show more dependency problems.Thirdly, gender, origins of students and family economic status also have certain impact on mental health of college students. In general, with regard to mental health problems occurrence rate, female is over male, arts students are over science students and former graduates are over current graduates; if one is only child and family economic status only influence single dimensionality of mental health.Under this research conditions, the conclusion is drawn:mental health levels of students from the independent college and the counterpart school on main campus have developmental difference, so mental health education for college students is needed accordingly.
