There are abundant adverbs in modern Chinese. Some of them arevery complex, but they play an important role both in spoken and written."Jiu"as a common adverb, it contains many frequency meanings, and hasdifferent working environment. It had become one of the difficulties inTeaching Chinese as the second language. With the deepening ofinternational communication between China and Thailand, more andmore Thai people are learning Chinese. The research about teachingChinese as the second language for Thai students are increasingly beingtaken seriously.The research object of this thesis are the Thai students who at theprimary stage of Chinese, comprehensive dictionaries and " The TeachingSyllabus For Foreign Students Of Institutions of higher learning", ensurethe scope of adverb " jiu ". We analysis99test papers we collected toinspection the Thai students who have learn adverb " jiu ". On the otherhand, we combined with four text books the first and second volumeof "hanyu jiaocheng"(upper and lower), to check how about thearrangement situation about the adverb " jiu ". At last, we sum up theproblems and carry on the teaching design.The author of this thesis divided this thesis into four chapters. Thefirst chapter introduces the reason of selection, the research significance,summarized the research status about the adverb " jiu ", the researchobjects, the methods and research scope. The second chapter analysis thetest papers in order to find out which station the Thai students learned theadverb " jiu "; The third chapter investigates the arrangement situation inthe text book "hanyu jiaocheng" volume1(up, down) and the second volume (up, down). According to the analyses, we sum up the probableproblems when the Thai students learning adverb " jiu "; The fourthchapter based on the text book "hanyu jiaocheng", focuses on theinstructional design which puts forward the principles, contents methodsof teaching and some recommendations for the design of practices; Thelast part is the conclusion, points out the existing problems and futureresearch plan.
