In recent years, the Chinese National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (NOTCFL) selected each year more than 1,600 volunteer Chinese teachers to teach in Thailand, while offering scholarships to attract more students to China to study in Thailand. This further strengthens the Thailand Chinese teaching and learning atmosphere and Thailand schools attached great importance to Chinese language teaching. In Thailand, no matter public or private schools, they all have Chinese classes; some of them begin to teach Chinese from kindergarten. However, though Thailand has the consensus of Chinese education and the atmosphere of Chinese learning, there are still many problems remaining in the Chinese teaching. As high school is the main period for students to learn Chinese, this period is also the main stage that the teaching problems exist.This dissertation is to study the instructional design of intermediate Chinese coprehesive course. The author took Anne’s Diary as the case to make the instructional design. Firstly, the guideline of teaching design has been established. Secondly, the procedure of teaching has been set and carried on. Thirdly, the the teaching quality evaluation has been made.This dissertation consists of five parts:The first chapter introduces the background and significance of this study, subjects and content, research methods, current research and innovation of this paper.The second chapter analyzes the situation of Chinese teaching in Nawamintharachinuthit Triamudomsuk Sanomklao School and sums up the survey in this school, by applying the theory of instructional design.The third chapter analyzes Anne’s Diary, including text book content, the important points and difficult points of teaching.and teaching methods.The fourth chapter presents the exact teaching design of Anne’s Diary. Including the analysis of teaching objectives, teaching steps and time distribution, specific teaching design and teaching summary.The fifth chapter is the assessment and evaluation of teaching and also makes a summary of teaching experience.The author hopes this teaching design will be useful for the Chinese teacher and help the Chinese teacher in Thailand to improve the efficiency of Chinese teaching.
