Many new words have appeared since the new period’s coming,among which, some new words’ separation of meaning have the specialimplication, they can not be used freely,therefore, these new words havetaboo meanings.Foreign students who coming to China in order to learnChinese,unavoidably touch these news words, however, those who havean incomprehension of taboo meanings can not use them appropriatelywhen communication with each other,so it is easy to make mistakes andbring some unnecessary misunderstandings.In the view of fact that thereis no research and teaching aimed at new words which have the taboomeanings in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,so this paper choicethis topic—“The research for new words which have taboo meanings andteaching Chinese as a foreign language” to study.This article mainly involves the contents of three aspects:Firstly:From the lexicology、the Semantics and the Pragmatics threedimensionalities to analysis and reveal seven representative new wordswho have the taboo meanings.Meanwhile, analysis and reveal the reasonswhy the new words have taboo meanings totally,from sociolinguistics,social psychology and cultural linguistics these three aspects.Secondly,through the form of questionnaires and supplemented byinterviews,to survey and statistic analysis the conditions about foreignstudents’ understandings and uses of the new words who have the taboomeanings. Thirdly,according to the above research,put forward some morepractical teaching suggestions aimed at how to implement the new words’teaching especially these words who have taboo meanings in teachingChinese as a foreign language.
