Normalization Of The Translation Of Names And Terms In Academic Texts

Serving as a bridge that makes up for academic communications betweenChina and the west, academic translation plays a vital role in driving the developmentof academic research, and even the progress of human civilization. However,influenced by subjective and objective factors, there are quite a lot of mistranslations,and the lack of standardization of names and terms is also serious. Therefore, we needto take measures to avoid such phenomena and realize a great leap forward foracademic translation. This paper aims to discover proper translation methods foracademic texts, and provide solutions for existing mistranslations, by using examplesfrom my own translation practice of academic texts.
