With the deepening of reform and opening up, Chinese urban residents’ incomelevel has been improved a lot, after the demands on materials have been satisfied,people began to pay more and more attention to the spiritual cultural consumption. Onescalation of consumption structure, cultural consumption has become a new hot spotfor promoting economic development. Then many people and scholars have beenpaying attention to the cultural consumption, which has become the focus of research inrecent years. Shaanxi Province is located in the hinterland of China, and has a longhistory, rich cultural relics, unique folk customs which makes the cultural consumptionare climbing. But as to the difference of the geographical condition, the economicdevelopment and the cultural consumption level in different regions is extremelyunbalanced in Shaanxi Province. Therefore, deepen research on the different ofinfluencing factors of cultural consumption level in different regions, has great value intheory and practical significance which can improve cultural consumer climate,eliminate the unbalances on cultural consumption among different regions, and promotecultural consumption further upgrading in Shaanxi Province.In this paper, according to the standard issued by the National Bureau of Statistics,Shaanxi Province can be divided into the Guanzhong, Shanbei, Shannan three largeregions base on geography, history, culture and other factors. And use the qualitativeand quantitative analysis method, emphatically discussed the different of influencingfactors of cultural consumption among Guanzhong, Shanbei, Shannan three largeregions. The results of this paper are as follows: 1. At the current stage, the added value of cultural industry, per capita income andgovernment expenditure on culture had an important impact in cultural consumptionexpenditure levels of the three regions in Shaanxi Province2. In Guanzhong area, except the added value of cultural industry, per-capitaincome and government expenditure on culture, the price is also an important influencefactors of cultural consumption spending.3. In Shanbei area, except the added value of cultural industry, per-capita incomeand government expenditure on culture, early cultural consumption expenditure andprice had obvious effect on cultural consumption.4. In Shannan area, except the added value of cultural industry, per-capita incomeand government expenditure on culture, per capita GDP, early cultural consumptionexpenditure and the level of urbanization had significant impact on culturalconsumption in Shannan.Finally, based on the conclusions, from the development of cultural industries,increase the income of residents, reasonable pricing of cultural products, foster newcultural patterns of consumption, and promoting regional urbanization and other aspects,this paper gives counter measures and proposals for different regions. In order toimprove the residents’ cultural consumption and promote cultural consumption furtherupgrading in Shaanxi Province.
