Lemov’s Taxonomy, the sixth chapter of Building a Better Teacher written by Elizabeth Green constitutes the original of the translation project. Although the original is on the whole plain and simple in wording, it has got such things difficult to handle as unique expressions and words used to describe teaching methods on the one hand and school names and characters on the other. It also contains lots of parenthesis, complicated sentences and some colloquial teaching expressions.The above translation project aims at analyzing the original text and solving the problems encountered under the guidance of three rules of "skopos theory", namely, skopos rule, coherence rule and fidelity rule. Firstly, the author through reading the source text in general analyses the text type of the original text and fine out the difficulties encountered. the conclusion, including enlightenment, achievement and problems to be solved.
