With the communication of cultures among countries,the exchange of education between China and foreign countries turns out to be a normal thing.And Materials and Methods in ELT: A Teacher's Guide is an educational book with high quality,which contains distinct structures that includes theories,cases as well as reflections and plentiful views.The report starts from the solutions in terms of the translation of Materials and Methods in ELT: A Teacher's Guide(chapter 11).And the principles of translation are accuracy,system and coherence.Meanwhile,the content of the report has been divided into six parts: First,the descriptions of translation task.Second,the introduction and the meaning of translation.Third,the process in translating.Fourth,the translation theory,which uses some skills under the guidance of the Skopos Theory and analyzes some of translation problems during the translation process from the perspectives of vocabulary as well as sentence.Fifth,case analysis.Sixth,conclusion.Ultimately,the typical skills are marked during translation and picked after translation process.The translation of Materials and Methods in ELT: A Teacher's Guide accelerates the assimilation of foreign education,while the difficulties in the translation and the information gaps bring a number of introspection and benefits.
