Vocabulary teaching has always been a basic and important part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. With the amount of vocabulary learning growing, there will be always some words that look similar, which are called synonyms. "Zanshi", "linshi" and "yishi" are a group of synonyms. Students are often confused by their specific usage, it leads to the appearance of errors and influence of Chinese learning.With the help of modern Chinese commonly used statements in the corpus of Peking University, the words "zanshi", "linshi" and "yishi" are sorted in this paper, analyzing their meaning and usage. Discriminate between two words again, does a comprehensive research on these three synonyms from the ontology angle. After that, the error examples,coming from corpus overseas studens of Beijing Language and Culture University and Jinan University, are used as reference. Combining with the questionnaires of overseas students in our university, this paper sorts out the statement types of errors and the reasons of "zanshi", "linshi" and "yishi" comprehensively, in order to apply the theory to the teaching activities of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. In teaching activities, the students have to face the textbook first. Nevertheless, the content about the interpretation of these three words is not much in the textbooks, even some ones do not include the three words in new words list, not to mention involving the analysis of the three words, and the related practice is not very in place.From the ontology research of "zanshi", "linshi" and "yishi" three words and the analysis of their errors, this thesis will return the research achievement to teaching finally, instructs compilation of textbook for teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and brings certain inspiration for teachers’ teaching activities. By this way, it can help students to master the three synonymous which are easily mixed vocabulary better.
