In the last century seventy, six’s, the youth movement with vigour and vitality of our country, for a generation of people left an indelible memory. Many contemporary writers have participated in the youth movement, such as Liang Xiaosheng, Shi Tiesheng, Zhang Chengzhi, etc. They have mixed emotions on youth movement, describes the life of the educated youth, the educated youth literature is a part of the new period literature, dignified strange. Idealism, on the one hand is a significant feature of the educated youth literature, on the other hand is a controversial character. I refer to the "idealism", and the personal "ideal" which can be realized under the conditions of objective conditions and the combination of our own efforts. Idealism is a spiritual quality, the individual according to the tendency of their emotions and fantasy of the best state, with nothing color. Idealism in youth literature, is closely related with heroism, collectivism, revolutionary romanticism. In fact, after the founding of new China, because of the political, the revolutionary idealism of the work is the mainstream of literature. This point in the seventeen years literature showed the most obvious, the State advocates in literary works reflected the revolutionary idealism, advocated in the literature show dedication to the motherland and the people the spirit of self concept.
