General Standard Chinese Characters Split And The Application In Teaching Chinese Characters For Foreigners And ChineseInformation Processing

General Standard Chinese Characters Table is the normative standard in general standard Chinese characters application promoting Chinese characters standardization. It is a universal standard Chinese characters set in contemporary society. But there is no research to study on the general character components based on this word table. According to the rational split and unreasonable split dimensions, this paper analyzed the 8105 general standard Chinese characters. Based on the original and the modern shape of Chinese Characters, this paper analyzed the general Chinese characters. And according to the general modern shape of Chinese Characters, this paper analyzed the general Chinese characters again. During the split repeatedly, the rules were more and more scientific, and the rules of the rational and the unreasonable split have finally fulfilled. Through counting and analyzing the smallest components, we summed up their own characteristics and laws. On this basis, this paper proposed a new way teaching Chinese characters for foreigners, named "New Shuo Wen", and conceived one new input methods for Chinese characters in information processing application. And we hope it can provide a reference for the practical application of Chinese characters.This paper consists five parts:The first part is introduction. This part simply introduced the General Standard Chinese Characters Table and general standard Chinese characters, theories and practices of Chinese characters split, methods and innovation of this research.The second part is the rational split of general standard Chinese characters. It introduced standards and results of the rational split. There are definitions of the stroke, the component, the structure, and the characteristics of the smallest rational components, and split principles, specific methods and steps of the rational split consisted in the standards. The number of the smallest components is 562, and the components were shown in the order of their frequency of occurrence. We made a statistical analysis of the number and the proportion of all types of components, drawn the coverage chart of the smallest rational components on the basis of statistical analysis, and then summarizes the components characteristics and the law of Chinese characters formation.The third part is unreasonable split of general standard Chinese characters. It introduced the standards and results of the unreasonable split. There were 407 smallest components. This section points similar to the second part.The forth part is the application of the character split in the field of teaching Chinese characters for foreigners and Chinese information processing. After analyzing the current situation of teaching Chinese characters for foreigners and the Chinese characters in information processing, we proposed a new way teaching Chinese characters for foreigners, named "New Shuo Wen", and conceived one new input methods for Chinese characters in information processing application on the base of the rational split and the unreasonable spilt results.The fifth part is conclusion. This part summarized the whole paper and pointed out the deficiency of the research work.
