Study On Culture Of Mount Tai Jade

In the year of 2009, the fifth Geological Exploration Institute of Shandong Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources found a preliminary estimate resources in more than 900 million tons of reserves of the jade deposits which located at the Western foot of Mount Tai, the municipal government call it Mount Tai jade, to demonstrate its unique cultural connotations. At present the earliest known books that record Mount Tai jade is "Book of Mountains and Seas".This paper introduces the overview of Mount Tai jade, then let the point of “Mo unt Tai have jade” as the breakthrough point, by reading a large number of data, demonstrates the ancient Mount Tai is today’s, deliberate the records "Mount Tai have jade" in the "Book of Mountains and Seas" and other literature; visit the unearthed jade by field trips, guess that it may have some connection to the current Mount Tai jade; so as to provide a reference direction for the tracing of Mount Tai jade culture.Then introduced the unique beauty of Mount Tai jade,the connection with the Mount Tai culture and the development of Mount Tai culture by the help of th e jade, summed up the Mount Tai jade culture and Mount Tai culture have the dialectical relationship. This paper also selects the part which has the typical characteristics of Mount Tai area from historical and cultural elements such as the natural scenery, the peaceful belief, the art of Mount Tai stone inscriptions culture, the culture of God in Mount Tai, the poetry culture of Mount Tai and the Confucius culture, show the diversity cultural elements of Mount Tai jade.Based on the above research,this paper takes the traditional culture and modern aesthetic in the final design--The Heaven Flower; Original;The Warrior and the Fairy Maiden.The Heaven Flower and Original based on the “tian yuan di fang” " theory, meaning sand incarnate the stone, or one of the colorful stone to repatching the sky hole; a perfect Mount Tai jade is the center of the Fairy Maiden, with the elegant Fairy Maiden and the original Mount Tai jade, while the clever use of the Fairy Maiden is the refraction of light, to achieve the effect of natural lighting, and fully display the Mount Tai jade’s beauty. All of them have a beautiful story, while the Mount Tai jade is the soul. Just hope to lay the foundation of further design.
