China and South Korea two countries are neighbors separated only by a strip of water. From a historical perspective, China and South Korea have over two thousand years of economic and cultural exchanges, and they have the inseparable relationship. In recent years, with the growing of economic and cultural strength, and the improvement of the international status of China, the diplomatic relations and foreign trade relations between China and South Korea are developing. At the same time, the cultural exchanges between the two countries are becoming more frequent and the mutual influence in cultural aspects is also growing. The promotion of Chinese in South Korea and the demand on Chinese language of South Korea is imperative.Since ancient times South Korea has been in the scope of the influence of Chinese culture for a long time. It is a long history that Chinese language and characters were brought into South Korea, and they are used by South Korean in a certain form. To now in Korean there are lots of “Sino-Korean words” and that is the best proof of that. But the two languages changed again after a long period of development. Thus the two languages became very different in some aspects now. According to the standards of modern linguistics, some scholars have divided Chinese and Korean into two different language families.This shows that there are some advantages for South Korean to learn Chinese, and there are also some difficulties. It is worth exploring and researching how the phonetic errors in South Korean’s Chinese conversations will be, and how to teach Chinese to solve these phonetic errors. And this is also the subject of this thesis. In terms of Korean’s Chinese phonetic errors, some scholars have already done systematic studies by contrast analysis and errors analysis. In the aspect in teaching South Korean Chinese, some scholars have proposed many recommendations which are worth adopting. In this thesis, we will do the further detailed analysis of South Korean’s Chinese phonetic errors, and supply and perfect the corresponding teaching countermeasures on the basis of the previous professional research.The main content of this thesis includes four chapters:Chapter one is preface. It mainly introduces research background, research value, research status and research methods of this thesis topic.Chapter two describes common phonetic errors in Chinese conversation of South Korean in the initials, finals, tones and sandhi four aspects and analyzes the causes of these errors according to the characteristics of Chinese teaching to South Korean and Chinese learning of South Korean.Chapter three puts forward the corresponding teaching methods and teaching strategies against the South Korean’s phonetic errors which are liable to occur in their Chinese conversations, according to South Korea’s national conditions and the situation of Chinese teaching to South Korean,Chapter four is conclusion, summarizing the full thesis and putting forward some shortcomings.
