Ru Zhi Juan’s works have suffered quite different treatment and comments in various versions of literary works. Therefore, it is more significant at the present time of restudying and revaluing of her works for the literary history. On the novels, Ru broke through the tragic stereotype on revolutionary literature describing, while adding woman’s tender into it, which has expanded the scope and enriched the subjects successfully. Ideologically, she focuses on humanitarian spirit revolution, humanistic care cares for women, and describes of daily life and the ordinary people at the bottom of society with great enthusiasm. And this kind of social consciousness and sense of responsibility are praiseworthy even in the contemporary time; literally speaking, she is the contemporary writer who firstly to apply stream of consciousness into short stories. She also studies on cultural theory, such as the western feminism and psychoanalysis. Her style is concise with plain language and blank to give a person open thinking, enlightening significance to the development of the short story. From Ru’s novels, we have not only realized the narrow aspects from women but also seen their irreplaceable strengths in writing. At the same time, her attentions to the bottoms of the society and social problems are helpful to broaden women’s ideas and expand their streams of thoughts. And here in this article, through feminist criticism, comparative study, text reading and other methods, we will start with the unique revolutionary story, analyzing the feminine angle of view in her works, exploring distinct emotions from men, and trying to dissect her writing styles and the highlights in it.
