Human development is inseparable from the interaction.Language provides tools for the exchange, Culture contains background、content and purpose of the exchange. Teaching foreigners Chinese is more than just language teaching, but also includes culture teaching of the group which the target language belongs to. Only understanding other national culture, can we touch to the core of the national spirit deeply, and make both parties in the interactive avoid cultural conflict as much as possible.Traditional festival culture as a national historical and cultural accumulation, reflects moral veins、religion and thought essence of a country and nation. In this paper, writer hackled and compared the cultural knowledge such as the history, development process,and the festival customs of Chinese and South Korean four major traditional festival origins.The cultural connotation and the causes of the cultural differences between the two countries were discussed in this paper. On this basis,writer maked the teaching design to south Korean high school students about Chinese four major traditional festivals’ culture.
