Interpreters have little time to consider in field interpreting. Therefore, it’s very important to choose an appropriate language alternative in limited time. Under such a circumstance, the author was so lucky to have the opportunity to take part in a public lecture---dvantages of Emotion Quotient and Team Performance as the interpreter of the lecturer Thomas Mob ley, human resource consultant and professor from Miami University. In the lecture, Professor Mobley shared his professional knowledge and rich experience with about 300 HR from different companies in Dalian. In this practice, the author indeed understood firsthand that literal interpreting couldn’t adapt to all situations because of the cultural differences between the two languages, as well as features of on-site interpreting like limited time and situated surroundings. Interpretive theory, whose representatives are D-Selesko vitch and M-Lederer, suggests what the interpreters pursue should be the equivalence of "sense" of what speakers say by "deverbalization", instead of the equivalence of linguistic symbols. This report aims to discuss effective interpreting strategies under the guidance of Interpretive Theory and its "Faithfulness", so that the author could improve his interpreting quality and offer his experience to others. The body of the report is divided into five parts:the Chapter One is a brie f introduction of the project; Chapter Two introduces characteristics of this interpreting activity; Chapter Three is a brief conclusion of Interpretive Theory and its Faithfulness; in Chapter Four the author discussed his interpreting strategies with examples; Chapter Five is interpreting revelation:the author, combined with his experience and relevant studies, conclude his shortages, and he tried to offer his suggestions to the other interpreting learners.
