Chinese International Education of Universities in Sichuan offer English as a Second Language. After 4 years of college study, students still have the problem effect of English learning is poor.Through investigate the English study situation of students of Sichuan normal university, Sichuan University and Southwest University for Nationalities, we will find the problem, analyze the causes and put forward improvement suggestions.That will help students who major in International Chinese education master English knowledge and skills more effective. It can also provide reference date to relevant departments make Teaching Plan.Because Chinese international education is divided into undergraduate and graduate students,this paper from the English learning situation of undergraduates. We learn from four aspects which contain teaching present situation, present situation, teacher’s present situation and teaching effect. The investigation method are questionnaire, interview, and contrast. The objects are students who major in International Chinese education.The English study problem that we found from the investigation of students who major in Chinese international education can be divided into two aspects.The first aspect is teaching problem. Teaching supervision system is not perfect. The courses is single. Teaching materials have limitation. The second aspect is learning problem. Students lack of passive in English study. They study English in an inefficient way.By the end of the article, some Suggestions are given. Suggestions contain teaching quality monitoring system, class design, the new idea of foreign language teaching, English learning and English learning strategy awareness.Through the investigation and research, we draw the following conclusions. First, In the process of students’ English learning, The quality of teaching decide by teachers’ teaching level, sense of responsibility,guidance and supervise. Second, Students’ interest in learning English, learning methods and learning motivation will affect the learning efficiency. Third, English curriculum, class set of science, and the selection of teaching material influence English learning ability. Fourth, it is suggested that the Sichuan Chinese international education professional related management departments of colleges and universities should perfect English teaching system, optimize the curriculum. The new idea of English teaching should be penetrated in the whole process of learning of International Chinese Education.
