With the development of economy and tourism in China, the design of souvenirs and its marketing promotion are more highly valued than before. Souvenirs industry has a bright future and tremendous consumptive capacity is increasing, which will not only contribute more to the development of tourism but also be the main power to promote the development. Tongcheng is located in the south of Anhui province and there is a long history in Tongcheng city and it plays an important role in the anhui provincial even Chinese history. Since the reforming and opening in China, the economy of Tongcheng has developed a lot and be ahead of the counties in Anhui province. But the development of tourism in Tongcheng is not balanced with the development of industry, commerce and entertainment service industry, which results in the backward status quo of souvenirs in tourist market in Tongcheng. Recently Tongcheng’s local government has paid more attention to Tongcheng’s tourism, and has rebuilt and constructed newly a lot of tourist spots with Tongcheng’s culture, such as Wen temple, Kongcheng old street and so on. Meanwhile, Tongcheng is born with the long history and profound and colorful culture, which makes it have a lot of advantages to develop local tourism. Just because of these, souvenirs which can stand for Tongcheng and promote the tourism development in Tongcheng are becoming more and more important.The writer dug up and summarized the Tongcheng culture, with the systemic thinking about the method, orientation and principle on the design of souvenirs of Tongcheng, studied and referred to a lot about many souvenirs in other tourist spots, and designed a series of souvenirs. These souvenirs are abstracted from the special spots in Tongcheng, and their colors, shapes and styles are highly accorded with Tongcheng culture. Meanwhile, in the principle of brand and system, the writer also designed a series of package and travel brochures with the same style and characteristics, which can show the Tongcheng culture well from outside to inside. All the products designed by the writer can contain the Tongcheng culture and appear the apparent characteristics of Tongcheng. All efforts and products aimed to promote the level of designing of souvenirs in Tongcheng and make the theoretical and virtual contribution to the Tongcheng tourism.
