According to Language Atlas of China,Wuwei dialect is included into Jianghuai Mandarin Hongchao cluster. On the basis of field research, conduct Wuwei dialect finals thorough research and make synchronic comparison in the way of description method and historical comparison method. The main content of research is phonological system,key research finals and its evolution. The full text is divided into four chapters, the second chapter and the third chapter is the main part.The first chapter is exordium. This chapter firstly introduces general situation of geography and dialect of Wuwei county.secondly this paper summarizes the research situation of Jianghuai mandarin’s finals and Wu dialect in Xuanzhou cluster. The last explains research purpose, significance, methods, and material sources.The second chapter is phonological system. This chapter mainly discusses initials and tones’pronunciation and evolution law of Wuwei dielect. It firstly introduces phonological system, initials, finals and tones and cooperation relations, secondly discusses MC voiced initials, the various initial group, tonal arch degree. Main conclusions are:the hekou(合口) initials of ming(明) entering characters unified produce a pre-nasal sound [mp].When the initials of duan(端) group spell with xie zhi(蟹止) rhyme-groups, initial is [t] without friction, final becoming [η].The initial of ni and lai (泥来) mixed,front-open vowels [nd] and [nz] are complementary condition variations. Most of the 2nd division of initials of jian (见) group exist literary reading and colloquial reading. Tonal arch degree characteristics reflected the transition between Wu dialect in Xuanzhou cluster and jianghuai mandarin.The third chapter is finals.This chapter focuses on Wuwei dialect final pronunciation type and comparing with Tongling, LuJiang, Feixi, Hefei, Feidong, luan, divided into five sections.The first section is yin sheng rhyme(阴声韵).Take over guo(果),yu(遇) jia(假), xie zhi,xiao(效),liu(流) rhyme-groups.The final of 3th and 4th division of xie zhi rhyme-groups raises from [i] to [(?)].The second section is yang sheng rhyme(阳声韵).Discuss the oral-vowel, nasalized finals,nasal finals,ending of yang sheng rhyme evolution.The colloquial reading final of jian group of 1st division of xian shan rhyme-groups is [i].The 3th and 4th division kai kou of xian shan rhyme-groups interflow jia rhyme-groups and they have the same final [i].The 1st division he kou of xian shan rhyme-groups and the 1st division kai kou of liu rhyme-groups have the same main vowel [e].The 2st division he kou of shan rhyme-groups with [ue] and[uae],are two different levels of finals, shen zhen zeng geng(深臻曾梗)have ε] and [an] two phonetic strata.The pattern of yang sheng rhyme’s ending is:xian shan aa-dang jaing(宕江 shen zhen zeng geng a-tong(通).The third section is entering finals. It’s open end rhyme,without glottal stop-endings [?]. Entering finals is divided into [(?)],[(?)],[(?)]three groups.The fourth section is medial-i-of 1st and 2nd division.It appeared in the initials of jian group of 1st division of xian shan rhyme-groups,zhi zhuang group(知庄) and jian group of 2nd division of xian shan rhyme-groups,jian group of 1st division of xie(蟹) rhyme-groups, zhuang group(庄) and jian group of 2nd division of xie rhyme-groups. The medial-i-of 1st division is initial and final in the result of joint action. The medial-i-of 2nd division is producedin the process of palatalized.The fifth section is medial-u-loss.The oder of the number of lost is zhen xie zhi(臻蟹止) rhyme-groups,shan(山) rhyme-groups.
