There are variety of external forms of digit numbers. The vast majority of countries in the world have at least two digit symbols, one kind is general international Arabic numerals, the other is based on the number of native language symbols.Is there any difference among different types of digital symbols in digital matching processing?and is there any difference among these neural mechanisms?This paper is about the digital matching processing and trying to further explore the neural mechanism of it.This ERP experiments use Arabic Numbers, Numbers in Chinese and English Numbers as materials,and the research recruits 16 undergraduate and graduate from Soochow University. The subjects need to judge whether the numbers presented former is consistent with the latter,and the reaction time and accuracy of the subjects is recorded,as well as the EEG data.The experiment use 3×2 within-subjects design and latin square design.The analysis result of EEG data and behavioral data show that:(1)Three types of digital matching processing can all active "Number Nototion Effect", N2 incubation period has significant difference in matching reaction and non-matching reaction, the N2 amplitude is more negative when the numbers is not matched.(2)Matching reaction and non-matching reaction can all active symbolic effect.And N2 incubation period has significant difference in different symbolic figures, incubation period of Arab condition is significantly earliest,while the English condition is latest.(3)There are no preponderant brain region under all the conditions,showed that both left and right brain regions worked in matching task processing.
