In recent years, with the global expanding of Chinese culture and internationalization of Chinese language, the quantity of Chinese learners in the Confucius Institute at University of Vienna, Austria has a rising trend on a year-to-year basis. Also, along with the Confucius Institute’s brand development, promotion of language and cultural programs quality, increase of demand for studying Chinese language from non-adult learners and further cooperation between Confucius Institute and local schools, it is obvious that the age of learners are becoming younger day by day.Different from the adults teaching, Chinese language teaching to non-adult learners is highly depends on factors, such as students’physiological and psychological condition and teachers often need to put more energy into the class for the comprehensive management. The management of classroom misbehaviors is not only the key of the teachers’classroom management, but also one of the biggest challenges which the non-adult Chinese Classes is facing. Therefore, misbehaviors in Austrian non-adult Chinese classrooms was chosen as the thesis’s object, seeking to analyze the manifestations and causes of typical classroom misbehaviors, summing up a set of practical and reasonable responses, finding out the corrective and preventive strategies on the solution of the classroom misbehaviors.Case study is a common form of qualitative research methods. It can present the original characteristics in a realistic and meaningful way. The combination of case study and second language teaching could not only provide abundant teaching references to language teachers, but also help teachers improve the ability of classroom management. Based on the truth that the case study of misbehaviors in overseas non-adult Chinese classroom is relatively rare, in that case, using case study as the main research method in this thesis is aimed to restore the real misbehaviors during the class, also, to summarize and analyze the typical classroom misbehaviors and provide reasonable suggestions on correction and prevention of non-adult Chinese teaching classroom misbehaviors from happening in the future.The thesis comprises of5chapters.Introduction part introduces the Austrian non-adult Chinese classroom conduct background, at the same time points out what challenges are there to classroom management, namely the insufficient emphasis, class is densely populated, complex student background, inexperienced teachers in resolving classroom misbehaviors etc. To focus on the issue, the author reviewed the literature, pointed out Chinese classes misbehaviors in Austria, the causes of specific behavior and finally put forward the research study of the of solving strategy.The second chapter, respectively, states out Austrian and Chinese cooperation mechanism in Confucius Institute, the description of Chinese curriculum, and from three points of view, describes configuration of non-adult Chinese classroom, for below case analysis.The third chapter is the main body of this thesis, according to the general characteristics of t misbehaviors in Austrian non-adult Chinese classroom and the particularity in the causes of misbehaviors, the classification could be defined as the general and special parts, namely the common introversion and extroversion classification method for general classroom misbehaviors and the genetic classification method for special ones. At the same time, providing the appropriate misbehavior cases into the classifications could conduct a comprehensive and in-depth explanation and analysis for Austrian non-adult Chinese classroom misbehaviors from different points of view.Fourth part is based on the third chapter, on the basis of analysis of classroom misbehaviors, combined with the practical experience and related books, the author sets up the strategies, in the form of cases and for the purpose of improving of the Austrian non-adult Chinese classroom misbehavior management methods.Conclusion part summarizes the Austrian non-adult Chinese classroom misbehavior characteristics, emphasizes the significance of the study of non-adult Chinese classroom misbehaviors, as well as the shortage of the paper.
