With the booming development of overseas Chinese teaching,a large number of classroom problem behaviors restrict the development of overseas Chinese teaching.How to effectively manage the classroom problem behaviors is a problem that every Chinese teacher must face,because the management of students' problem behaviors is one of the main contents of classroom management.Since the characteristics of adult students are different from those of nonage students,Pakistani adult students in Chinese class also have problem behaviors which exert a negative impact on classroom teaching.Combined with relevant research results at home and abroad and the writer's 10-month internship at Confucius Institute of Punjab University in Pakistan,the problem of Chinese language classroom behaviors management is investigated and the corresponding causes are explored through the research methodologies such as literature research,questionnaire survey,classroom observation and interview.Also some suggestions are made as to Chinese classroom problem behaviors management of Pakistani adult students.This research mainly includes the following aspects:The first is about the investigation results and influencing factors of problem behaviors of Pakistani adult students in Chinese class.The problem behaviors of Pakistani adult students in Chinese classes are complicated and varied among which introverted-type is dominated.The second is centered around the analysis of the complex causes of the problem behaviors of Pakistani adult students in Chinese class.The main influencing factor is the student factor.This research also studies and analyzes the factors of teacher and environment.Finally,based on the previous two parts of the study,corresponding strategies and suggestions are given from four aspects-student,teacher,school and Confucius Institute in view of the problem behaviors of Pakistani adult students in Chinese class.This paper is aimed to provide some advisable ideas for Chinese teachers in Pakistan and improve their management ability to solve the problem of students' problem behaviors in Chinese classroom.
