As an important component of Chinese school education, the main purpose of theSecondary School Vocational Education (hereafter Secondary Vocational Education) is tofoster application-oriented specialized talents and labors with practical skills with a view tocoordinating modern Chinese socialist construction in the21stcentury. This cultivating aimdetermines the special role of Chinese courses in Secondary Vocational Education, that is, tocombine the teaching of Chinese with other major courses and cultivate theapplication-oriented specialized personnel with the relevant profession. To meet the demandof high quality talents in modern times, the Architecture Major in our school, under thebackground of developing vocational education around the country, has deepened the reformof Secondary Vocational Education and improved the standards of editing and revisingChinese teaching books after several rounds of developing school-based teaching materials.However, Secondary Vocational Teaching in our country has provoked another new round ofthinking, such as defining and choosing the content of the teaching material and effectivelyimplementing the teaching material. How can the teaching of Chinese in SecondaryVocational schools meet the teaching requirement and make innovations? Due attentionshould be paid to combination of the teaching material with “professionalism” so as toassociate the teaching of Chinese knowledge with the Architecture Major and boost thecomprehensive quality of the students, especially their professional quality, culturalawareness and many other abilities. In this way, school-based Chinese teaching material witha characteristic of vocational education can be built, and it is also the most urgent and criticalmoment for the cultivation of vocational Chinese teaching material. Accordingly, this paperdiscusses and explores the cultivation of school-based Chinese teaching material inArchitecture Major of Secondary Vocational School. In the case of Architecture Major ofSecondary Vocation in Weifang University of Science and Technology, this paper makes afurther analysis of the school-based Chinese teaching material and provides the suggestions ofadequately raising the cultural awareness of the architectural majors. The combination ofChinese course with Architecture Major is not only the need of the construction of theChinese course, but also the cultivation of the Chinese teaching material. On building ofChinese teaching material, what kinds of Chinese resources should be cultivated and how can they be cultivated are also the main focuses and aims of this paper.For the development of school-based teaching materials professional Chinese in secondaryvocational school building, I think can be set in building professional books of Chineseschool-based teaching materials, to further consolidate and expand with language andprofessional, to adapt to modern social employment, the necessary communication andlifelong development of Chinese basic knowledge, basic oral communication, reading andwriting ability; stimulate school enthusiasm, to develop good moral training, staff and healthliteracy of noble aesthetic temperament and interest, the development of personality, theformation of healthy personality; culture of socialist morality and social responsibility, to laythe foundation for improving the comprehensive vocational ability and ability to adapt to thecareer change.This article is divided into three chapters:The first chapter: reality background and significance on secondary vocational Chineseteaching material development and the construction. This chapter mainly tells us the fourrequirements of school-based teaching material development:1. The syllabus requiresdevelopment and construction of school-based teaching materials.2.The teaching status quorequires development and construction of school-based teaching materials.3.Secondaryvocational school curriculum reform requires development and construction of school-basedteaching materials4. Teacher’s development needs require development and construction ofschool-based teaching materials. The main purpose of this chapter is to discuss the necessityof school-based teaching material development.The second chapter: the case analysis of development and the construction on Chineseschool-based teaching materials in building professional of our school. The author’s School ofvocational school-based Chinese use to do a small survey, and analysis the reasons of acertain extent.This chapter mainly analyze:1.The goals of development of Chineseschool-based teaching materials in building professional of our school.2.The contents ofChinese school-based teaching materials in building professional of our school.3.The waysand methods of writing on school-based teaching materials.4.The evaluation on Chineseschool-based teaching materials in building professional of our school. The main purpose ofthis chapter is to analyze the development and construction of Chinese school-based teaching materials aiming at the research target of our Chinese school-based teaching materials’development.The third chapter: the advice on development of Chinese school-based teaching materials inbuilding professional of our school, which is the main body of the article. The chapter mainlydiscusses two pieces of advice:1.Development advice, which mainly discusses advice ondevelopment of Chinese school-based teaching materials from five aspects.(1) Theembodiment of humanism on development of secondary vocational Chinese school-basedteaching materials.(2) The attention of effectiveness on development of secondary vocationalChinese school-based teaching materials.(3) The great importance to the practical ondevelopment of secondary vocational Chinese school-based teaching materials.(4) Theembodiment of the Times on development of secondary vocational Chinese school-basedteaching materials.(5) The embodiment of the local on development of secondary vocationalChinese school-based teaching materials.2. Evaluation advice, which includes two aspects:(1)main body of evaluation.(2)evaluation on the writing of teaching materials andapplicability.
