A Research On The Teaching Of Measure Words For Nouns In International Chinese Teaching

The measure word is a special type of words that can only be found in Chinese. This specialty makes it a very hard part of learning Chinese as a second language for students. Furthermore, measure words are used frequently in reading and daily use in Chinese language, so it’s important for teachers to help those who study Chinese as a second language to choose measure words accurately. Among the measure word, the measure word for nouns is the most complicated, the most used, and also the most difficult to master. Therefore it’s important to analyze the errors made by learners during the course of acquisition, study the teaching materials and teaching methods, and give some advices.We know that a lot of scholars have made many researches on the measure word for nouns and the teaching of the measure word for nous in international Chinese teaching. Based on the result of these researches, this study is to do error analysis, teaching material researching and questionnaire surveys, so as to learn the present situation of teaching of the measure word for nous in international Chinese teaching and give some suggestions on the teaching material and teaching methods.
