A Translation Project Report Of Cybersecurity Strategy Of The European Union

This is a translation project report on Cybersecurity Strategy of the European Union, a formal report published by the European Union in2013. In the source text, after a brief introduction on the current cybersecurity condition and its principles in Europe, a very detailed action plan was proposed with strategic focus and specific division of labour. The main contents of this project report can be classified into four parts. The first part provides an introduction of the background of the translation project, including the project origin, its significance and the structure of the report. Part two is the research background introduction, including the contents of the source text and the theoretical framework. The third part focuses on quality control, namely the difficulties encountered by the author during translation and how they were settled with the help of related theories. The last part, a conclusion, summarizes the author’s lessons, enlightenments and unsolved problems during the project. Part three stands out as the key part among these four.
