Quality Control In Translation Project Management

This thesis is a project report on the C-E translation project of Ancient LouguanDaoism Culture Tourism Area in Shaanxi Province. As a team leader of the translationgroup, the author in thesis gives a detailed analysis of the translation project and theproject management process. This project report consists of four parts: Part onedescribes the translation project which includes background of the project,requirements from the client and text analysis. Part two is the translation process,including translation preparation, translation workflow and wind up. Part three isabout translation cases study, including the difficulties encountered while translatingand how to settle those problems through various communication methods. Part fourconcludes with the enlightenments and unsolved problems in the translation project.In this project report, the author combines the Communication Management theorywith the translation practices and proves the importance of the theory by usingdifferent communication strategies and concrete examples.
