An Analysis Of The Function Of The Interpreter In The Interpretings For The Press Conferences Of NPC And CPPCC From The Perspective Of Functionalist Theory

In our current decade, the country has already ascertained its economic and political presence on the global scene, and its influence is as palpable in the Asia-pacific region as in the western hemisphere.Developing from the perspectives of the interpreter, under the guidance of the skopostheorie, this thesis makes an analysis of the conference interpreting of the press conferences for NPC and CPPCC.By the use of three skopostheorie, Function plus Loyalty principle and Translation action theory, three functions have been laid out:first, the interpreter makes the brief before the translation process; second, the interpreter analyzes the original text; third, during the process, the interpreter should strike a balance between his treatment of the original text from the speaker and that of the listener.
