"Left-behind children" refers to those parents one or both go out to work and left the children stay at home taken care of by their parents or others. Many studies have shown that, left-behind children was significantly higher than that of non left-behind children on the level of social anxiety. Detection rate of left-behind children’s social anxiety was also have the same phenomenon. So why the left-behind children experience can increase children’s social anxiety? How to alleviate anxiety levels of the ever left-behind junior middle school students? A further discussion has been made in this study.This study starts from two aspects. Fist we select a total of20ever left-behind junior middle school students of grade seven and grade eight in XinYang city in He Nan province. Through the qualitative interview study, we can understand the impact of left-behind experience to the students’ social anxiety:because those ever left-behind junior middle school students separated with their parents in a long-term, they lacked of normal family communication atmosphere and that also have different influence on their communication. Some of them stay living environment and lack of objects to communicate to. Some of their caregivers gave them excessive love, over protection, too much control which limit the autonomy of the children’s social behavior. Remaining for a long time makes ever left-behind junior middle school students lack of sense of security, become introverted, too worry and fear in social occasions and have avoidance behavior.Research two:we select10ever left-behind students from6classes of grade seven at he middle school of XinYang, and design a systematic and specific plan to intervene social anxiety. Intervene7times to those students’ social anxiety by cognitive adjusting, case discussion, behavior training and other specific activities. Result shows that the scheme can alleviate the ever left-behind junior middle school students social anxiety, the effect is remarkable especially for the remaining life whose is relatively short(about5years).The main conclusions are as follows:(l)Stay experience has important influence on social anxiety of junior middle school students. Because of lack of normal communication with family and guidance and support from teachers and students.Plus some children’s growing environment is block, caregivers excessive restrictions, which all influence the development of the children’s normal social skills and easy to produce strong social anxiety.(2)The intervention scheme can alleviate social anxiety of left-behind junior middle school students to a certain extent. Especially effective reduced to the junior middle school students stay about5years after intervene in a short time,but it’s difficult to change rapidly in a short time to the children who have been left-behind longer.
