As one of the important subclass of adverbs, correlative adverb has greatresearch value in both of Chinese ontology study and in teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage. From my personal teaching experience, how students learn and useCorrelative adverb is one of the most important influence factors and external visualperformance of their language level. Whether the use of Correlative adverb properly,and how to avoid the misuse of Correlative adverb, not only deeply troubled students,but also affects the teaching.In order to solve the practical problems, from the practice of teaching Chinese asa foreign language, based on the ontology research, through the summary of theresults of previous studies and analysis, comparing Correlative adverb and otheradverbs and conjunctions, pointed out the characteristics of correlative adverb. On thebasis, Correlative adverb in the HSK syllabus were identified and discussed theclassification and the Category of correlative adverb. Through the above research, theauthor boldly proposed Correlative adverb conversion and student misuse case isPositive correlation. Combined with the misuse of statistics in HSK dynamiccomposition corpus of students‘Correlative adverb, through the comparison ofsemantic and syntax of three group words, confirmed the correctness of theassumptions. But at the same time, the student is not only affected by the number ofcategory, but also affected by the type and characteristics. To prove the aboveconclusion, the author selected three representative group of Correlative adverb,compare between and within groups, draws the main conclusion:1, the number ofcategory is positive correlate with the errors;2, having different types of categorywill influence students’ misuse types and the misuse in semantic level increase;3,properties of correlative adverb, will have an impact on students’ misuse, atypical ofCorrelative adverb acquisition effect is lower than that of typical adverbs.In addition, to demonstrate the process and conclusion of the hypothesis also give some pedagogical implications to us. In teaching of correlative adverb,weshould both pay attention to the detailed explanation and interpretation of thesemantic and association function, and, the similar words comparative analysis.Besides,we should give same attention to all the correlative adverb in HSKsyllabus,do not leak and lose.
