| In this thesis,we choose adverb “Bing” and “You” as the research object,and make a comparative analysis about “Bing/You +negative words” based on the 2400 corpus which are chosen randomly from CCL Corpus.We discuss the problem of the similarities and differences about adverb “Bing/You+ negative words” from three aspects of grammar,semantics and pragmatics.In the aspect of gramma,by comparing and analyzing the corpus of adverb “Bing” and "You",we find that the position of adverbs "Bing" and "You" in sentences can be the front of the negative verbs “Bu” and "Mei(Meiyou)".However,adverb “Bing” can also appear before negative verbs "Wu" and negative adverb “Wei” and “Fei”,but adverb “You” cannot.The words which in the right side of “Bing/You+ negative words” are verbs,adjectives,and nouns,and form the structure of “Bing/You+ Bu+ verbs/ adjectives” and “Bing/You+ "Mei(Meiyou)" + verbs/ nouns”.In the aspect of semantic,"Bing+ negative words” is to emphasize the truth which is different or opposite from the semantic presupposition,but " You+ negative words” is to emphasize a kind of behavior or point of view which is different or opposite from the semantic presupposition.The semantic presupposition of the sentences which has the structure of “Bing/You +negative words” can be divided into four types.The most common type is inferred from the sentences,followed by the type which could be drawn from the results described above,then is the ones appeared in the sentences of "Bing" and “You”,the last ones could be learned from the background knowledge.In the aspect of pragmatic,when people or one originally thought a situation,but the fact and the view were not considered or may think,this context uses the adverb "Bing”.When a reason is emphasized from a negative perspective,and then a negative action or mentality is strengthened,we can use the adverb "You" in this context. |
