Middle Chinese Age was a critical stage in which vocabulary developed from monosyllables to disyllables. The academic study about disyllables in that age mostly focused on the discussion of the meaning, the construction and change rules.This article, from phonological point of view, is researching the pronunciation relations between the first-syllable and the second-syllable on the objects of the disyllables which are included in Ci Yuan and all their ancient initials of the first-syllable are "Xiao". Basing on the above research, this paper summarized the basic appearances of the disyllables form Ci Yuan which initials of the first-syllable are "Xiao" and explored their syllables’ pronunciation relations in history of phonetic change.
