A Study On Folk Characters Of Jiuyunmeng Which Is The Korean Block-printed Edition Of Bookshop

This paper is based on the jiuyunmeng which is Korean novel block-printed in1803(short for Korean block-printed edition of bookshop) and thorough investigates thevariants folk characters in it. At the same time, combined with China and South Koreadictionaries and related historical documents, show folk characters’ propagation path inthe Korean peninsula, to search for their inheritance variation rule and expand theChinese folk characters’ research space. The main contents are as follows:The first chapter introduction: A brief introduction to jiuyunmeng’s author, thebook and its version; A simple introduction of North Korea (South Korean) folkcharacter and folk character’s research status in jiuyunmeng. Introduce the researchcontent, research method, research significance and the innovation place in this paper.The second chapter is about the structure type of folk characters in the jiuyunmeng.Choose seven types of typical folk characters and do a classification research. The seventypes are change phonetic complement, change ideogram, assimilation, simplification,adding parts, transforming structures and writing deviation.The third chapter is about the jiuyunmeng and the Chinese traditional folkcharacters. Summarize the Chinese characters’ development and the spread in Korea;choose the forty cases of representative inheritance folk characters in the jiuyunmeng.Refer to the Chinese ancient lexicon and compare their glyphs to explore the rheologicaltrajectory; Survey and select the inheriting folk characters from the ancient literaturedata of South Korea inscriptions and paleography etc. To support each other with theinheriting folk characters in the jiuyunmeng.The fourth chapter is about jiuyunmeng and South Korean variation folk characters.Confucianism, Buddhism formula folk characters as an example to analyze SouthKorea’s local variation folk characters; Classified study the variation folk characters injiuyunmeng from five parts of echoism variation, knowing variation, shorthand variation,symbols variation and genuineness of common variations. Search for South Koreawords’ overall variation phenomenon.The epilogue part, jiuyunmeng’s folk characters as an example to conclude SouthKorea folk characters’ characteristics and put forward the future research direction.
