Reserach Of Travelling Website’s Visual Design In Information Construction

Internet technology in our country has matured a lot, as a result, it facilitates thedevelopment of travel information. Information technologies like travel websites havenot only been used by resorts to promote and exhibit themselves, but also by touriststhrough which to get information.How to perfect and optimize the structure design andmake a win-win for both the resorts and the tourists should be travel websitesdesigners’ focus.The theory of information structure comes from the rapid development of Internettechnology and people’ s crave for precise and simple information inquiry andmanagement. It instructs and supports the designing of websites. This research willcombine the new concept of information theory with the system of web designing fortravel. It will help make the websites more reasonable and more regulated. And userswill find it easier to understand and use the web.This paper contains six chapters. The first chapter which is the general statementdeals with the background and meaning of choosing this subject. Also, it givesinformation about the content and method of the research and it presents key pointsand difficult points of the research. The second chapter illustrates the main applicationtheory of travel website design from four key points. These key points are the conceptof information structure、 core content and purpose utility. The third chapter introducesthe basic elements of travel website. It shows the fundamental structure and content oftravel web. Chapter four and five are key chapters of this research for they analyze frominformation structure and graphic design, These two chapters do some research andanalysis on the web required function、content organization、presentation and graphicdesign. The fifth chapter describes the success of information structure and travelwebsite integration--the official website of Finland Travel Department. It presents theadvantage of designing under information structure and its instructing meaning inwebsite construction. The last chapter of this paper brings up the innovative method thatthis research applies. And it illustrates the limit of the research and the perspective of itsfuture development.
