Negotiations and various forms of conversation are the basic methods and means of diplomacy. Diplomacy is a kind of foreign policy behavior in the implementation of foreign policy through foreign publicity by a state government. The goal of foreign policy is to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity. It can also protect right and interest of the country’s political, economic and military. Foreign policy is benefit to solve differences, contradictions and conflicts between countries. In another word, foreign policy is the best way to deal with international relations, maintain world peace and stability. Language is not only a tool for communication, but also the medium for foreign affairs. Foreign language represents a country’s position and policy. Once a slight mistake happened it may cause big economic loses, and even bring great political effects, which is harm to the image of the nation and the political reputation directly. For the most part, Foreign language cannot be straightforward, but use fuzzy language metaphorically. Euphemisms are abundant in our languages, and thus widely used in diplomatic language without exception. In recent years, The diplomacy have developed quickly with the fast development of China’s comprehensive strength. At the same time, more and more researchers have paid attention to the study of fuzzy diplomatic language. So the fuzzy foreign language must under the guidance of correct translation theory, it can express our own position, maintain our own interests fairly.There were six chapters as follows:The first chapter:This part is mainly introduces the research background, theory significance, application value, important and difficult points and research methods.The second chapter:In this part Ⅰ try to categorized the characteristics of fuzzy diplomatic language into three parts, that is political sensitivity, vagueness and precision, nationality. At the same time, the discourse power should be strengthened between countries. The third chapter:This chapter summarizes the reasons and functions of the fuzzy diplomatic language which highlights its functions. It emphasized on that when translation diplomatic language, we must pay attention to the strong political nature, and only in this way can safeguard the interests of our country better.The forth chapter:This chapter puts forward translation principles of fuzzy diplomatic language after analysis equivalent theory of Nida. The translation principles are:"political equivalence " principle, fuzzy principle and accurate principle.The fifth chapter:In this chapter introduces three translation strategies in fuzzy diplomatic language. The translation strategies are:literal translation, free translation and integrated approach.Chapter Six:Summarizes the view and conclusion of the paper, and makes the prospect of the future study.
