Fuzziness in language as a natural phenomenon has long been a studying subjectwhich appeals to many experts and scholars. Since American cybernetics Zadeh putforward the concept of “fuzzy set”, fuzziness has become a relatively formal subject inlinguistics. However, most scholars have been specializing in the theoretical study andthey did not have any breakthrough in the application of fuzziness. This paper choosesfuzziness which is applied in diplomacy language as its subject of study. On one hand,in this paper, the author collected many bilingual meeting minutes of Chinese ForeignMinistry as examples to analyze and sort out in order to provide a complete theoreticalsupport, on the other hand, to suggest better coping strategies based on the analysis offuzziness. Hence, this paper has theoretical value and practical significance to someextent and opens a new way for the study of fuzziness and interpretation. |
