This paper studies Ning Hao’s film in “No Man Land” from theperspective of post-modern violence aesthetics by analyzing its creativeconcept of the film, narrative strategies, and other forms of visuallanguage to explore the using and value of violence aesthetics of itsfilm, and the culture behind the films.In the movie, Ning Hao focused on the current social reality inChina.Many social contradictions have become increasingly acute,serious social problems continuing to arise, which provides a source ofcreativity for the film.He abandoned the traditional grand narrative, thelens alignment at the fringes and the bottom of society, in experience andout of sight from grassroots people, showing their survival state.Underthe influence of postmodern ideological trend and violence aesthetics,with black is commonly used gimmick, extraordinary story plot Ning Haobuilds the site absurdist comedy, shape the unique role, and expose theweakness of human nature, and criticism the darkness of reality. He useshis cruel and reality, telling the theme story of struggling a human with animal, depicting the real uglyof reality, thought-provoking, intriguing.On the movie narrative structure, The “No Man Land” uses the exquisitesingle structure, and the day-to-day work and sudden violent content, totriggering a strong psychological impact and viewing audience desire; Onthe using of audio-visual language and lens, the film also reflects theinfluence of postmodern culture and violence aesthetics.The creation ofsubversive film language, bloody and violent, the absurdity of violenceand banter, collage and mixing, brings the audience a strong visual andauditory stimulation, to them dazzling.Violence aesthetic pursuit is a kindof formal beauty, it is showed by violent means, is the exploration of theconcept of alternative and performance. Violence aesthetics explainshuman nature, being a kind of the passivation of beauty.Through behindthe movie, we see the violence aesthetic concepts in the modern contextof Ning Hao. He stood in social life with the review and the height of thecultural reconstruction to describe moral discourse of ethical construction,to convey the human spirit of good and the beautiful concept.The conceptof postmodern film gradually changes the way of human thought and thethought idea, the concept of "violence aesthetics", is to let thepost-modernism flourishing. Luckily but not surprisingly, in the currentdownturn of the Chinese film market system, Ning Hao’s filmsuccessfully breakthrough the large and overflow contemporary situationof the Chinese style, becoming "kyushin pills" to save the downturn of the market.Exploring and studying Ning Hao and his movies, it can findthe typical creation technique of Ning Hao, making the enlightment andreference for the present situation and the future developing of Chinesefilms.Firstly, this article explores its outlook on life, the formation of filmfrom an era of Ning Hao growth words background, and the concept ofcultural context. Then mainly it discusses creation idea of "no man’s land"of violence aesthetics in Ning Hao film, including the theme, charactersand value pursuit, etc., the narrative strategy of violence aesthetics, theaesthetic form of aesthetics violence and the audio-visual language,etc.Finally this study summarizes the valuing significance of violenceaesthetics.
