Investigation And Research Of Cultural Landscape "Golden Horse And Green Chick" In DianChi

The legend of "golden horse and green chick", which is the earliest and one of the ancient legends in the historical records of Yunnan Province, has been most widely circulated and greatest influential in southwest China since the Han Dynasty. The causes of "golden horse and green chick" legend will analyzed from the following aspects:the form culture of Han dynasty, the ideas of worship, the natural environment of southwest and the central authority’s political intentions of developing frontier, which could conclude the inevitability of golden horse and green chick" in Dayao, Yunnan. In the process of historical development, the legend of "golden horse and green chick" gradually spread from the place of origin to the region of Dianchi and even the whole country and the content of the legend is correspondingly enriched and developed due to the effections of cultural transmission mechanism. After its circulation to Kunming, the development is embodied in the combination with Kunming’s local customs. The infiltration of Buddhism was eventually lead to the substantial variationThe legend of golden horse and green chick", which is mainly transmitted through the landscape construction and place derivation, has a long history. Places are a concomitant of history and culture, which bearing an important historical and cultural information. In this passage, the location of mountain, construction of lane and establishment of temple will be investigated. Because they’re not only related to the legend of "golden horse and green chick", but also inextricably linked with Kunming’s city programming, traditional geomancy and improvement of urban image. In a field survey, we found that the cultural landscape of "golden horse and green chick" holds rich types, extensive distribution, unique features and multiple functions. They are not only the witnesses of history, but also are important parts of the study.This thesis puts forward the opinions of the legend of golden horse and green chick "connotation and value based on Kunming cultural inheritance. However, because of the involvements of more cultural landscape and cultural relics, the management and protection chapters of this thesis will be separated. And we will propose six aspects:officially protected monuments and sites, unofficially protected monuments and sites, cultural relics reconstruction, intangible cultural heritage, urban planning and promotion of cultural tourism. In order to make Cultural heritage of "golden horse and green chick" inherit well, we try to explore a Kunming tourist route based on the brand of "golden horse and green chick" and put forward to my standpoint of how to construct historical and cultural city. On one hand, this thesis provides new perspective to dig deeper the "golden horse and green chick" cultural resources. On the other hand, it provides practical directions for Kunming tourism.
