The Poetry Development Under The Backdrop Of Monk-scholar Confluence In Eastern Jin And Southern And Northern Dynasty

Buddhism has introduced to China since the Western Han Dynasty, to the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Dharma has established and fully developed, not only in the increasing numbers of monks, temples, but also on the performance of the prevalence of scriptures translation and missionary activities. A particular note is that monks and Scholars had extensive exchanges in this period; both of them start discourse on Dharma thoughts, but also explored Metaphysical argumentation. This paper has divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction of this article, mainly made a brief exposition the topic significance、the status the related research and the expected goal to reach for this paper.The second part is the first chapter of this paper, mainly made an overall summary to the situation of monk-scholar confluence in Eastern Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasty. This chapter is divided into three sections to explain:Firstly, described the Buddhism development status in the Eastern Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasty, mainly described from the development of communication, and political and cultural relationship aspects between Confucianism and Taoism;Secondly, mainly investigated the monk’s cultural activities Eastern Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasty, did the research from the exchanges activates between monks and literati, expand from introduce of the monks introduction; and finally, made a general description the acceptance of the Buddhist scholars.The third part is the second chapter, mainly analyzes literary Feature of features of the monk poetry in Eastern Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasty. Firstly, briefly discussed the reasons why Monk Poetry produced; secondly, explained the existing and included situation of monk poetry in Eastern Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasty; and finally, focusing on Monk Poetry classification and analysis, shows the literary Feature of monk poetry in various degree.The fourth part is the third chapter, mainly analysis the ideological influence of Buddhism and the influence under the back drop of monk-scholar confluence, change and development Literati Poetry. This chapter is expanded by dividing into three chapters:Firstly, explained that the Metaphysical Poetry developed from the initial Metaphysical poetry into style to Buddhism poetry into style; secondly, explained that Buddhism Landscape eventually promote to become independent aesthetic object,and explained issues such as which made the landscape poems completion by Xie Ling Yun. Finally, described the components as increasing Poetry philosophical speculation and system discussion by introduction of Buddhism, produce of monk poetry.The fifth part is the conclusion of this paper, it has summarizes the contents of the front, indicating the incoming monks and Buddhist-Scholars exchanges not only produced the monk poem poetry, also made series of changes on traditional literati poetry, not only to change the traditional poetry set ambition, lyrical as the main purpose, also injected philosophical speculation ingredients into traditional poetry scholar, affect the entire poetry development in the future.
