Research On The Influence Of The Cultural Industry Cluster Network On Enterprise Innovation Performance

Within the world economic structure’s adjustment, transformation and upgrading,cultural industry begins to draw researchers’ attention gradually in developed countrieslike the UK, the USA and France. The most common strategy based on cluster model isto build industrial park. The industrial cluster’s core advantage lies in innovation ability,while innovation needs connections within the company and other cluster subjectsinstead of self-working. It is a good research about how cultural industry clusternetwork affect companies performance.First of all, this thesis builds a cultural industry cluster network, which has mainbodies like companies, universities/research institutions, and agencies, and governmentorganizations and so on, based on related theory, and analyzes influences to companypreference from the four main bodies and five features of network structure-networkdensity, network strength, network reciprocity, network non-repeatability, and networkcentricity.Second, an assumption model of influence from the degree of industrialconcentration and network structure is building, to give out conclusions that the degreeof industrial concentration not has direct significant positive impact on corporateinnovation performance, through the network, cluster can influence corporateinnovation performance. The whole industry cluster network structure and its fivefeatures all have significant positive but little influence; Industrial concentration degreehas significant positive influence on them.Third, taking Shanxi’s culture industry forinstance, using location quotient measures Shanxi’s culture industry agglomerationlevel, the result is Shanxi’s culture industry location quotient LQ increasing year afteryear, and agglomeration phenomenon is clearer; compared with the six centralprovinces, Beijing and Shanghai, it is in the medium level. At the same time,agglomeration effect of Shanxi’s culture industry park is gradually enhanced. Presentsituation and existing problems have been analyzed by case study;he results show thatthe scale of Shanxi’s culture industry cluster is smaller. Although the network has mainbodies which need to grow up, the connection between the bodies should bestrengthened; and innovation environment needs further construction. The analysisverified the chapter4of the conclusions. In the end, this thesis summarizes theconclusion and gives out several suggestions to promote cultural industry cluster’sdevelopment on two aspects: government and enterprises.This paper analyzes influences from cultural industrial concentration degree and network structure on corporate innovation performance, which are important for thecultural industry cluster theory, and are helpful for companies to make better use ofcluster resources to improve its innovation performance, and be useful to otherprovinces when they are making policies for cultural industry cluster development.
