| Fan Zhongyan is referred to as the teacher for all ages, with the high and noble personality, broad and profound learning, proficient in literary and and military talent. And Fan has outstanding achievement in many domains in his whole life, his contribution on the Book of Changes also should not be ignored.This thesis aims at analyzing Fan poems and essays related to the Book of Changes. Firstly introduce Fan’s life story and his works, and define the scope of poems and essays related to the Book of Changes of this thesis object. Secondly, the thesis further analyses how Fan quoted and paraphrased from the Book of Changes, the Confucian classics, Lao tze and Chuang tzu and so on to his own poets and essays. The third section mainly focuse on ideological connotation of Fan’s poems and essays related to the Book of Changes. This section divides into two chapters. First Section is to analyze harmony thought, with virtue and the status concept; Second half is to study Fan’s poems and essays related to the Book of Changes from politics, education and moral cultivation aspects as supplement. |
