From 1950 to date, foreign language teaching has experienced start-up, development, after several stages of recovery, now entered a period of overall development, during which the academic study of foreign language teaching has not stopped. With the development of Chinese international education, more and more overseas’ universities have begun to offer Chinese courses. Research on universities’ overseas Chinese teaching situation, it will be helpful for the development of local teacher training programs’ formulate and the local Chinese testbooks’ develop.After extensive research from current situation of teachers, textbooks and teaching methods, focus on the issue of teachers and textbooks,which conducted extensive investigation, also take on the students’ motivation,learning method,and outcomes from their point of view.At the micro level, through Confucius Institute in Kyrgyzstan Chinese teachers and volunteers in-depth interviews about their views on Chinese teaching, HSK exams and teachers’ training, while at the macro level questionnaire sent to students to get students’ views about textbooks and examinations, then analyze the current situation of the universities’ Chinese teaching in Kyrgyzstan.The article is divided into three parts, the first is the overall analysis of the Kyrgyz college textbooks, teachers and curriculum setting, After finish the reach of Kyrgyzstan current textbooks and teachers,we learned that the basic situation in Chinese courses of the Kyrgyzstan’s universities. After the adoption of the national universities and private universities, the comparison of major in Chinese and not major in Chinese found that the characteristics of Chinese language teaching in Kyrgyzstan’s colleges and universities,and found the problems which exist in.The second part focused on teaching Chinese in Kyrgyzstan recent years, the development of the situation unfold. Through the comparison of existing survey,focus on the changes of Chinese teaching in collages within the last couple of years.After analyzed the overall situation in Kyrgyzstan universities,we can also found the problems in Chinese teaching in colleges and universities of Kyrgyzstan, so the third part is the analysis the problems of Chinese teaching in colleges and universities, and summarized the reason of the problems.
