Women’s problem is a global issue and women’s problem in the Islam culture is both complicated and sensitive. Central Asia is an Islam region, and Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region is one of the five ethnic autonomous regions in China. There are more than one religion in Xinjiang. Nowadays, countries all around the world have politically, economically and culturally accelerated exchanges with one another. China, especially Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region has increased exchanges and cooperation with Central Asia, thus, it’s very important to know more about women’s problem in Central Asia. This translation task is the Lost Voices by Yvonne Corcoran-Nantes, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Women’s Studies in Flinders University, South Australia, English-Chinese.
