| Nowadays, with the growing quality of people’s life, sports have become an indispensable part of people’s daily life, which makes sports news play an important part in the news field, catching the attention of people all over the world. Besides, with the improvement of internationalization, global sports communication happens frequently, which promotes the development of the sports news transediting to some extent. However, due to the influence of many factors, there are still some unqualified sports news transeditions. By analyzing two pieces of sports news from extratextual and intratexual factors, this thesis summarizes and classifies the problems at news structure level and language level in the process of transediting. On the basis of the text analysis, the thesis provids the revised target sports news by adopting more effective transediting methods such as deletion, addition, integration etc., in order to eventually achieve the functions of sports news and carter to the needs of the intended readers. |
