The paper calculates out new HSK level four disyllabic words with high error rate in “HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus”, analyzes errors of those words, explores the causes of those errors so as to come up with some teaching strategies, in the hope of providing certain reference for Chinese vocabulary teaching in the future.This thesis is composed of four chapters.As the introduction, the first chapter summarizes research status related to this paper starting from three aspects, namely researches about the inter-language theory, researches on vocabulary errors guided by the inter-language theory, researches on vocabulary errors the New HSK Lexical Syllabus so as to determine the paper’s research purpose, value, angle, thinking and methods.The second chapter is about the statistics and analysis of level four disyllabic words with high error rate. In this chapter, the standard and steps to determine the target words are introduced, and the part of speech etc. of the target words are analyzed.The third chapter studies on errors of level four disyllabic words, analyzing omit error, addition error and misuse error of those words.The fourth chapter is about causes of the errors and corresponding teaching strategies. The paper analyzes causes of the errors from aspects like characteristics of Chinese vocabulary, learners and teaching materials, comes up with some corresponding teaching strategies.
