Study On The Western Zhou Dynasty Bronze Vessels In Ningzhen Area

The bronze vessels unearthed in Ningzhen area of the Western Zhou Dynasty as the research object, including the specific scope of bronze vessels, unearthed 5 tombs clearly the 5 bronzes unearthed in unknown environments and sporadic unearthed 16 bronze vessels, a total of 89.The main content of the article is divided into three chapters:The first chapter is the introduction, mainly expounds the research scope and object, for the purpose of this study, the research methods used, and reviews the achievements and shortcomings of previous research scholars at home and abroad in Ningzhen area of bronze vessels etc. The second chapter is the Ningzhen area of unearthed bronze vessels dating, is the focus of this chapter. In order to sites as a unit, from the previous classification, the bronze vessels unearthed in the same place according to the shape and pattern features are divided into three categories, namely:the Central Plains type of bronze vessels, fusion type of bronze vessels, local type of bronze vessels. Using the method of typology, according to different categories one by one analysis of these bronze vessel shape and ornamentation, compares the typical artifacts and the Central Plains during the same period, the range of years. The third chapter is the conclusion part, the results above the bronze group or individual bronze vessels in combs, clear the show’s scope, and puts forward the deficiency of this article.
