The 1980s of China is a literature era with twists and turns in theoretical and creation thinking. For a long time, when researchers mention the 1980s, they always use the term "new-era literature". Such opposing words as "new" and "old" are used to separate the 1970s with the 1980s, indicating that the After the Chinese society encountered an extremely wicked catastrophe of "Cultural Revolution", it has a strong desire for the "new era". As the original form of literature history, literature journals are not only the recorders of the literature history, but also the direct participants that influence the direction of development of the literature history in the 1980s. However, the existing literature history would ignore the real historical materials of literature journals in the narration process. Therefore, through sorting out the evolution of literature journals in the 1980s, this paper tries to adopt a vision of scene sense to reinterpret the literature history in the 1980s to explore the relationship between literature journals and the narration of literature history.First of all, this paper has studied the social history background for the history of evolution for literature journals in the 1980s, separate the period into several stages and describe the characteristics of literature journal patterns in different stages. This paper relies on literature journals and divides the evolution history of the literature journals in the 1980s into four stages of transitional stage, prosperous stage, peak stage and turning point according to the development regularities. Since literature journals in the transitional stage did not completely break away from the "integrated" pattern of "literature-politics" before 1976, the literature journals’journal models and contents and production behaviors were still controlled by the national government. The prosperous period and peak period are the major focus of the paper. The flourishing of provincial literature journals, the frequent "name change" of literature journals, the return of literature journals back to literature and the emergence and peak of popular literature were all characteristics of the literature journals in the two stages, affecting the trend of development for the history of literature at that moment. When the turning point came in 1987, with the acceleration of journal marketization, literature journals suffered from the dilemma between sticking to literature aesthetics and pursuing economic benefits. At this stage, they started to shift to the external economic layer, reflected in the anti-tradition in the content of literature journals and the commercialization of such journals. After sorting out the evolution of literature journals in the 1980s, this paper turns to the existing narration of literature history. In existing literature history, text analysis are the main content, there has almost no literature journals. This leads to some limitations in existing literature history. This paper explore the relationship between literature journals and the narration of literature history from the rich, reduction and rectify three aspects. In the final conclusion, this paper argues that, the existing narration of literature history is Not enough in-depth and comprehensive, due to the lack of materials, such as literature journals. As the original and important form of literature history, the literature journals are necessary to be mentioned in the history of literature narrative in in-depth research.
