This article through to the cliff tombs in Chongqing area were collected and field survey, think of Chongqing cliff, has a special significance for understanding the ancient culture of Chongqing. From the aspect of comprehensive research on the cliff and ethnology data, see the cliff has significance to the study of ancient people in this area belong to he origin. In particular, has a positive effect on the analysis of Chongqing ancient Liao,the formation and the origin of Tujia nationality. Chongqing cliff is an important form of tombs of Han Dynasty in Chongqing area, which reflect the cultural factors, funeral thoughts, has an important reference value for theunderstanding of ancient culture in Chongqing area.
