The Research Of "Preachers’ Experience" Under The Perspective Of Indigenization

The book, "chuan dao jing yan tan " edited by Yang Daorong, was published as a preaching book in the 1920s-30s by Lutheran Board of Publication in HanKow. This book includes 60 people’s preaching experience and aims to spread Christian experience and cultivate their own preachers. It is a combination product of many factors, such as more powerful of the Chinese ministry,the impact of the anti-Christian movement and the development of Christianity Indigenization Movement, that made the book come into being. At the same time, its appearance revealed that Chinese churches began to train their own preachers, and the publications of Chinese preaching experience has drew more attention by all churches’magazines and publishing organizations.All the 60 authors of this book were domestic famous preachers at that time.Based on their abundant of preach experience, they came up with plenty of Chinese way of preaching methods, problems that preachers should notice when preaching, and also explained "God", "Jesus", "Preacher" in a manner that fitted into Chinese mode of thinking, all of that are indigenous viewpoints of theology and preach. Furthermore, its unique appearance in china made other publishing organizations and publications pay more attention to articles and books of this sort. However, this book still has some shortcomings because of the defects of the internal system and the limitations of the authors themselves. However, as the saying goes, "the defects cannot obscure the virtues",these deficiencies can’t cover up the important effect and contribution of this book as "the domestic product of Christianity".
