A Study Of Impact On Fanfiction Caused By The Interner

Fanfiction is a typical literature creation style, which refers to recreating literature works based on characters from others’ original creations or real history. Although this special subculture literature has been the minority among literary productions decades before, along with the development of the Internet, transportation of information has provided the beneficial society environment for the growth of fanfiction. Since information is easier for people to acquire through the Internet, more people have participated in fanfiction work creation after reaching the concept of fanfiction. Also, because the expanding of fanficiton authors’ population, fanfiction author is becoming more important compared to traditional literature authors or other Internet authors.Chinese fanfiction can be studied rely on technology of the Internet. Combined with the fundamental technology of the Internet attribute to better and deeper understanding of the progression and developing of Chinese fanfiction. In this article, it has been discussed according to the dual effect theory in technique of Marxism dialectics of nature and part of Frankfurt School technical judgment of Marxism and applying methods such as research of literature, participated observation, un-structural interview and resulting that the Internet technique may have positive and negative effects on progression of Chinese fanfiction development. And it has also been explored based on former study results of promoting healthy growth of Chinese fanfiction creation development with advanced technique methods. Compare and contrast of history and progression of fanfiction is made with other countries U.S. and Japanese, or with different historical phases of Chinese fanfiction itself, or with other types of creation such as internet literature or other traditiona artistic production, it reveals the unique progression of Chinese fanfiction and dual impacts of the Internet to Chinese fanfiction. Also, it provided several suggestions for healthier development of Chinese fanfiction developing.The whole article is divided into six chapters:In the first chapter, which is introduction, mainly provide background knowledge of this study, the scientific meaning of study, the conclusion and analysis of current studies among the world, the methods applied in this article and strategies of research.In the second, third, fourth and fifth chapter, this article clarified and analyzed several aspects in Chinese fanfiction creation, which is historical progression of development, main creating subjects, creative methods and the relation between fanfiction creators and honors of original copyright these four aspects. The influences of the Internet to production of Chinese fanfiction works can be described in following four points integrated with current situation of fanfiction creation in China. 1. The Internet has impact on the pathway of fanficiton growth and leads to different progression steps compared to traditional pattern. 2. Influences on the subjects of fanfiction creation can be described as wider population, more diverse types of authors, excessively pursue for freedom, evanescence of subject consciousness, weaken of responsibility and stereotyped of pattern of creation. The Internet has effects on Chinese fanfiction creation subjects both sides related. On the positive side, the Internet has provide more convenient communication platform and expanded the population of author and reduced limitation of fanfiction creation. On the negative side, it increased the complexity of creation subjects, which may lead to low quality of fanfiction work and high uncertainty of fanfiction production. 3. The Internet can also influence the ways of fanfiction creation, which may lead to multimedia creation types, diverse creation methods, widely published rather than only published on internet and the content of fanfiction is easier influenced by audience or environment. 4. The Internet also draw influence on relation between fanfiction author and honor of original copyright, and may offer further and deeper corporation opportunities to make tighter relation.In chapter six, the last part of this article, it provide functional and effective advises for inducing health growth environment and organized principles of Chinese fanfiction creation based on the conclusions of results among this article and other instances of fanfiction in society depended on the primary consideration of having support from Internet technology.
